I agree, step up to a good set of 8 mm wires, like Magnacor or STI, they will handle the Rovers heat and not break down.

Guys,
Thanks for the advise and help. I'm on the gas and seafoam already and will get the plug wires. Give me a couple of weeks to run the gas and I'll be back with a report. Based off the hits on your replys you guys are helping a lot of folks with the same question!

ive been using the premium over the last ten months. runs generally well. just got the 1313 code too. Mike pushed me towards new cables and plugs which I will try this week and then see if the code goes away or not. i've also read cat problems from replacing the cat (which I really don't want to do due to cost) and to cleaning as possible solutions.

time to clean the MAF too i think.
