Service Engine Light goes on sometimes and then off

Any ideas what may be the problem if my Service Engine Light goes on sometimes and then off??

All fluids are good. Truck runs fine.

It's a 2004 Disc.

Take it by a parts store and have them scan it. Its done for free. Then buy an ultra guage. You will need it to keep an eye on the temperature because the one on the truck is not trustworthy.

I'm betting you have a bad plug wire. The wire could have split or is loose. Check spark plug and ignition coil connections. When dark, start engine, look under hood closely at the plug wires for any signs of arcing.
