Default Sound coming from the transmission

When I slightly press down on the gas pedal I can hear a slight hum/light grinding noise coming from directly below me. Anyone ever ran into this problem. Whatever it is, it doesn't sound right. Help is much appreciated.

Pat that or your front drive shaft failing, you will need to be a lot more specific. Have you ever rebuilt or replaced the front drive shaft?

so i managed to get a look under the truck this weekend and noticed that the heat shield weld managed to come loose and I need to get it welded back in place. so now that i know where the grinding noise (or vibration noise) is coming from, ironically the Service Engine light just came on. I don't know if it has anything to do with the heat shield but I got P0150 and a P0174 reading. It can't be the 02 sensors because I just replaced all 4 about 5 months ago. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
