Default Sound from the rear wheels

Someone help. I have a Disco 3, 2005. When i drive a distance of about 3km, i hear sound from the rear as if something is pressing against the disks. However, the car is not struggling to move. Its moving smoothly. When i park and switch off for some minutes and resume my journey, the noise disappears and appears again after like 1 or 2 km.
The mechanic checked the disks and breaks and there was no abstractions. Anyone experience this before?

Do your caliper guide pins move freely with no binding? When mine were heading towards frozen they would do this.
