How does one go about solving the issue? I have this same noise sound.

Edit: Nevermind, I found the information myself. I've never had trouble before with this out of the last 15 cars and trucks I've owned over the years...

Bleeding Air from the D2 Cooling System thread

Short version from that thread:

raising the tank in very important to the bleed.

1. cold engine
2. loosen bleed screw
3. remove cap on tank
4. lift tank above bleed screw, be careful not to break plastic lines coming off tank. Ask me how I know
5. fill until you see a STEADY stream of fluid out of the bleed screw, then tighten
6. lower tank back into position fill it all the way to the top and put the cap on.
7. start truck and run with heat on full blast.

You can also leave the cap off and let the truck get up to operating temps to allow the system to "burp out all the air once the stat opens.

both have worked for me. the burp is good if you don't or didn't lift the tank

 

Had to haul something to work in the rover on Friday. It made it up there...about a 10 minute drive. 3 hours later the engine is still hot and it was sitting in the shade the whole time. Drove it down the road to the garage (5 minute drive) and having them check it all out. The coolant was still full and the temp gauge was not showing hot. CEL still on. Told them to do the pressure test and anything else they can think of to try to fix this rover. I have owned it for 2 weeks and drove it to my business once and the garage for repairs three times. Im thinking I might have made a bad choice for a work hauler....

 

No, you made a good choice, you just didn't have it checked out first by a good Rover tech to know what you were buying.
