SRS Warning 2003 D2

Default SRS Warning 2003 D2

SRS popped up yesterday. Any suggestions, recommendations?

See if you can find someone with a code reader such as a Nanocom or Hawkeye. It will give you a more specific error code readout. Two common SRS faults are: airbag (rotary coupler) or seat pre-tensioner. Good luck!

I’ll check in with my local import independent.
I hope it’s not the clockspring. If it’s anything like Mercedes, it will be worth more than the truck!

If the fault is due to the driver's seat pre-tensioner, just push and wiggle the pre-tensioner wiring at the base of the seat.

Thanks

Faults indicated that both seat belt buckles are faulty. Codes were deleted but the passenger seat buckle flashed up a fault as soon as the technician restarted the beast.
