Default throttle body oil?

Hey guys my 04 Freebie with 43k threw p0304 code (cyl. 4 misfire). Upon looking at everything I noticed some oil dripping out of the throttle body. I had taken the hoses off and notice it had oil in it. Clean the maf off. Also which cylinder is 4? My 3 year old broke the rave disc as well as others. Gonna try to pull the plug and coil on this thing to sort out. Thanks

Not sure which is your #4 plug, if I were to guess I would say the second one on the drivers bank. How long has it been since you changed all the plugs?
As for the oil, this could be a problem, a little oil buildup can happen as part of driving, but if you are getting actual oil, I would say you have too much pressure in your crank case from a plugged up PCV type system.

Number 4 cylinder is going to be the last one on your right looking at the engine.
So the front of the engine is on the passenger side of the car (being a transverse mounted engine) and #1 is always the first cylinder on the front, the front of the engine is where the pulleys are.

Clogged PCV like Mike said, or a bad gasket somewhere.

Thanks for the tips. Everything pretty much stock plugs coils. I thought the same thing with the pvc system clogged. Buddy burning me a rave copy so later I will see what's going on with the truck. Gonna start by pulling the pvc piping and blowing air through the tubes. I change the main one last year cause it was broke. $78 later. I post back

Well, in the mean time, clean your t/body and also check your oil level.

Well oil is good and coolant is also. Hate to do it but finance at home is killing me. My nephew who is in technical college for auto will bring it in for testing. Cost is free. He knows my love for rovers and I got him a copy of rave cd. Hopefully its just plugs and or coil. Ill post back
