Transfer case does not go out of high gear

Default Transfer case does not go out of high gear

00 Disco that I can not get out of high gear. Any ideas? I tried going 5MPH and shifting to N but it does not come out of high gear.

you probably need to get under it and clean and lube the linkage.

Yes, I agree mine was the same then i got under there lubed it and cleaned and now she is good. IT happens for not being used, some make sure you use it and cycle through the gears a couple times a month.

Common issue, you most likely have a shift solenoid on the t/case that has failed. It can be replace or taken out and not used any more.
How mechanical are you?

That doesnt sound too bad, whats the best way to change that or where and what do i lube
