Uh oh...White Smoke.

So I started up my DII the other morning and it started blasting out white smoke from the exhaust. I shut it down and checked all of my fluids and they were right on level so I started it back up and more white smoke. After about 5-6 minutes it went away and off to work I went. I went out yesterday morning and nothing, no smoke at all but it did seem to idle funny. This morning it started smoking again so badly it looked like I was signaling a freakin airstrike! Can anyone tell me what this might be and how to fix it? Thanks.

I wouldn't drive it till you can have it checked, coolant on the plugs, low coolant, coolant in the oil. It is most likely a blown head gasket and needs to be taken care of quickly. Might start with a coolant pressure test to see where the coolant is going.
How mechanical are you? If it happens again, run back and smell the white smoke, sniffing for that sweet, burned coolant smell.

Thanks guys. It does smell sweet I noticed that the first time. Any advice on where to go for parts to take care of the head gasket? I'm decently mechanically inclined and I've worked on motors in the past although they were mostly classics. I also have a good friend who is a mechanic and has a shop full of tools and equipment. Thanks.
