Question Updating Contacts from Address Book

I have a new 2014 LR4, and am delighted with the vehicle, except for one "major" flaw. My car connects to my iPhone through Bluetooth, and the first time it did, it automatically downloaded all of my contacts. However, it has never updated those contacts, and there is no apparent way to delete an old one or add a new one.

Is this a bug in my system? Or is Land Rover really not thinking about the implementation?? It would be a major security breach if I were to sell the car with all my addresses loaded!

Anyone?

Smile Solved issue with Address Book for iPhone

All,
It turns out that there is no way to add or delete addresses to the address book/contacts in the LR4 because it "should" download a new copy every time it finds your phone.

I took Lucy (my LR4) to the dealer and she behaved beautifully (of course) and everything worked! So, we think that perhaps my garage was close enough to my network/iPhone so that it didn't really "forget" it when I stopped the car. That, or perhaps it has to do with synching the phone to my computer... Just not sure. All I know is that when I added a new contact earlier to the phone, it would not appear on Lucy's address book. But, after a trip to the dealer, it works perfectly. Hmmm.

One solution for me will be to "forget the phone" on Lucy in her settings, then let it reacquire the phone.

In any case, problem solved!
