What is this wire? 04 disco
wouldnt worry about it. i have all sorts of connectors not connected to anything. like i said sls, ace are just two that come to mind. if all your warning lights come on at startup and no lights are on when running and all your fluids are clean and full then there are no worries.
Ok so got under the truck today found where it goes. It plugs into the motor on the driverside beside the manifold pipe it has a heat Sheild around it and another wire plugged in too. Anyone know what it does?
I don't think that's your Flux Capacitor.
That's where the HAL9000 plugs into. Unless you like the song "Daisy Bell" I'd just leave it. Although I can't be to sure. The HAL9000 models were probably canned after that unfortunate incident back in 2001 when they found that abandoned Disco2 in a Pan Am parking lot. Its computer had been disconnected and the driver nowhere to be found. Something really terrible must have happened, I mean really, who leaves a Land Rover?
Anyway still, best to be on the safe side, I mean if it really is your flux capacitor you're screwed. I'd check your next date's I.D. Don't want to find out you slept with your mom.
Good luck with that one!
And Happy Holidays.
