Default Wheel bolts, on 1986 classic

Rear tyre came off the rim the other day so I wanted to take the wheel and half-hanging-on tyre off, and cart it to a tyre shop to have it fixed up. But when I took my big 4-ended wheel brace to it, none of the sockets were big enough. Can anyone tell me what size the wheel bolts are?

My wheels look like this one:

27mm?

Yes, the lug nuts (ANR2763MMM) for those wheels take a 27MM socket.

Your lug nuts are solid steel whereas the alloy capped ones Overover posted were found on Range Rover Classic models from 1994 on. Just an FYI.

Uniform light corrosion all over, so yes I guess I must have those ones. All came off without a fight, tyre all sorted now. Good chance to have a good clear out of mud from around the brake components, amazed to discover how well everything's coped with a longterm thick covering of clay soil!
