So I have a 2003 Discovery II but I have the "upgrade/backgrade" wiper arm kit that allows me to use D1 wiper arms and generic blades. Over the several year's I've owned them they've been great- but now they just don't apply enough pressure to keep the blades flat on the windshield glass. I took the arm apart and shortened the little C clamp that attaches the springs to the hinge- but it made zero difference in the overall pressure. Does anyone have any idea if these can be adjusted to add more downward pressure on the windshield. Brand new wipers leave huge streaks on my windshield right, of course- where I need to see! Or should I just buy new ones (on order from L8 but not sure if they're even in stock- no one else seems to show them in stock).
