Question 2008 LR2 running rough after replacing power steering pump

I replaced the tensioner, belt, power steering pump, and idler pully. Once J get it all back together, it won’t idle, it surges when idling and misses when accelerating. I found this and can’t seem to find where it connects and if it is a vacuum hose, etc. If Vaccum, maybe it’s the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

A. B. Foster

What Is and where does it attach?

I think you mean once you THOUGHT you had it all together... No clue what it is but it does look like something important.

Funny, yes, once I “thought” I had it all back together.

If you check the engine error code(s) it might tell you what you took out that it wanted back.

From my recollection, that's the auto 6 speed Aisin transmission breather hose; if I get time I will look up the part number.
It's located at the rear DS of the engine against the firewall.

Makes sense, I found a tube coming off the transmission that looked like it needed something connected to it. I just need to figure out which end connects to it.

Don’t guess that will cause the engine to surge, huh?

From your pic above, the end on the right of your pic. The other end with the inverted "u" rubber pipe is up & against the firewall.
