2013 lr2 hse
Hello all,
I need advice on issue I’m having with LR2. I had to get a jump off twice yesterday evening. Woke up this morning all the windows are down and the battery is dead. All dropped key fob in water after the jump off. I have a new battery for the truck but still can’t let the windows or nor can the key be detected. Mileage just hit 112K Any advice???? Thanks in advance

What?
Install the new battery then try it again. This will reset the ECU and all the other control boxes, including the windows and security.
I'm pretty sure the key fob is at least water resistant, as long as you didn't leave at at the bottom of a lake for a week.
This is the thorough computer reset procedure. Very good chance the computers are just confused by the low voltage from the bad battery.
Disconnect both battery cables (neg first)
Wait ten minutes
Touch battery cable ends together
Wait ten
Connect battery (pos first)
Wait ten
Insert key fob (don't turn on)
Wait ten
Turn car systems on, but not the motor (with foot off brake, press and hold start button for a few seconds)
Wait ten
Start engine, drive around a bit
