I am considering purchasing a 2013 LR2 HSE for my son. Great looking vehicle that he is now in love with. It seems to be priced right at $15,000. Has 88,000 and a clean Carfax but I am terrified of the repair cost reputation. Talked to my local mechanic and he confirmed that they can be a handful. Just looking for some advice from the experts before I make the move and I am not really a DIY'er. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

I have a 2013 lr2 base model 42,000 miles. When I take in for the yearly service at the dealership (north Jersey) it's about 600 dollars. that's just routine maintenance. If something goes wrong it can cost you a LOT OF MONEY. Wipers cost 80 dollars for these vehicles. I have not had any issues with my LR2. Hope this helps.

 

LR2's for the most part have been extremely reliable trucks. Maintenance costs no matter what brand you pick up.

Wiper blades are $36, if you are not DIY capable find a good independent shop near you to do the work. Dealerships are never cheap.
