I'm having some issues with the alarm system on a 2010 LR2. For no reason the alarm will sound off without any provocation. One other time it would not let me lock the car. I opened and closed every door and it still didn't work until I started and drove the car. Any ideas?

 

The engine hood latch sensor is a common problem for false alarms on the LR2. It's not difficult to replace, there is even a YouTube video showing how it's done.
