Battery Drain
Once again, having returned from an 8 day trip we get to the airport parking lot to a dead LR2. I have unpaired my phone from the bluetooth and the dealer says they have installed every conceivable software update. The car sat in their lot for 5 days but they couldn't repeat the battery drain. They have basically given up on the car. As long as we drive it it's fine. Any suggetions?
When I go to the dealership with an issue they can't solve, they tell me it's that "Land Rover charm".
Suggest you purchase one of those new Lithium battery jump packs. They are very small, can fit in your glovebox, and will start your battery right up if it drains.

and the dealer says
If you can use a meter do your own battery drain troubleshooting. There are several threads with how-to descriptions or links that may not be LR2 specific but the will work.
If unable to DIY you're limited to finding a competent technician or getting jumps with your new kit.
......
Welcome to the LR2 battery drain nightmare
Reference this class action suit and you will see there is nothing at this point anyone has been able to figure out to solve it....I have had 3 batteries so far in my LR2. Wait till it wont start after just one night or 2 only months after putting in a new battery...
