Default Changed battery, now difficulty starting???

Hope someone can help with this issue. Yesterday morning I went to start my 2009 LR2, it was completely dead. I jumped it with a donor car, started fairly easily after a few minutes. I drove the vehicle for awhile, parked it and left it set for several hours. Only to find it completely dead again. I installed a new battery, everything seemed fine. 12 hours later, it is now hard to start, I have to hit the starter button 3 or more time to get it to start??? Any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Check for proper voltage to the starter solenoid. The starter may be on its way out and with the introduction and help of higher amperage from the fresh battery it may have been enough to turn over the failing starter motor. My point is to rule out a bad or failing starter motor.

Confirm the alternator is generating the proper amperage ~14Amps.
