Diagnostic Code p0458 Purge Valve
#21
If you have time, and your part is not sealed in an unopened bag, will you please measure the resistance on the connector? Mine measured at 23 ohms and I wonder how close this is to a brand new one. I've read that a good purge valve typically measures in the range of 14 to 30 ohms, but that reference was not for the LR2 specifically. Thanks!

Oooh, you have a new one on hand? I have a spare from my old engine that I'm curious about.

How is that wrong?????
The alternator is surrounded by the intake manifold and the purge valve is on the intake manifold above the throttle. It is in no way attached to the throttle body. I removed my throttle body for cleaning but I have never removed the purge valve.
Do you actually read what you write???
An actual picture showing that these two parts are in no way connected
If you aren't sure about something you should write that instead of insisting that you know .
Just the other day I posted picture of disassembly for the fuse box and I wrote that I am not certain which fuse is correct
"Here are some pictures that may help.
Note: I am not certain which fuse is for the electric fan and you may have to remove more covers.
If you figure out which fuse is the right one then take some pictures and post it here for other to see."
And someone wrote.
"The fuse for the fan is F3. It's under the little cover he was asking about."
Wait never mind that was you.
It is pointless to respond to people that can read even simple things like I am not certain
Those are the same people that will post --> That's wrong. It's attached to the throttle body. search the forum, i have already uploaded the diagram that shows the location.
The only thing that is wrong is the person that posted the misinformation.
Wait that you again.
Not worth my time.
