I ran out of time and took it to the shop. Fuel sender leaking, so they have to drop the tank

Not too surprised, there was definitely liquid fuel on the side of the tank, although it never created a puddle on the ground.

It was the RH fuel sender, apparently that one has a seal that's under pressure.
