Default Hesitation when accelerating

I have recently noticed that my lr2 2.2 diesel 2008 has become slow to respond at acceleration. Only when vehicle is stationary or almost, and then pressing the gas pedal it takes a few second for it to respond. I don't remember having this problem earlier. And I think it has developed slowly over time, at least I haven't noticed it at once. The fuel pump is just replaced at shop. And I have also cleaned the air mass sensor whit proper cleaner. But I have not still noticed any difference.
I also checked the faultcodes with a obd reader made for jaguar and land rover. Once it showed o code that was: fuel rail pressure low, I deleted that code and it haven't returned since. The same obd reader also showed the pressure on idle in the fuel rail system was around 25000 kpa. And that I have no idea if normal or not? I havr googled a bit and now i'm wondering if it could be something wrong with the fuel rail pressure regulator or sensor?
anyone having or have had similar problems?
very thankful for help a d tips!

Hey Fredrik,
My 08 LR2 is the inline 6 petrol so I can't offer any real solution other than to register and search this site below:

www.freel2.com

^^Lots of diesel users and tons of information there. LR2 = Freelander 2
My only thought was did your issue occur before the fuel pump was replaced and was it an OEM or LR brand replacement?

the problem occured before the fuelpump replacement, at first I thougt it was the fuelpump that had become bad, but no difference. I'm not sure what brand the new fuel pump is, but I think it's o quality one made for that specific engine because it was fitted at a qualified workshop.
