Default How to install air intake for lR2?

we bought air intake for lR2. the dealership doesn't know and doesn't have part and skills, they have recommeded someone but they are not sure about their quality. so we bought it via e-bay.
to take off the original filter is easy but to mount a new one is a big deal:
it stays loose and there is big open hole that belongs to original system that doesn't fit to anything in a new intake system. Is there any picure or step by step installation process published somewhere? how to mount it so it won't be loose and what hose or interface is going to connect to the hole that stays open?
that is what we purchased:
2008 - 2011 Land Rover LR2 / HSE 3.2L I6 BBP AIR INTAKE SYSTEM W AIR FILTER

IMHO the change to this type of filter won't return the "performance gains" you may have desired. Plus the "oiled rag" style filter allows dirty oil mist to foul the mass air flow (MAF) sensor in many situations. How many mpgs were you hoping to pick up?

If it "did" add 26 HP and 10% mpg increase the web site claims, we would all have them by now. And yes, I'm a sucker and have one, but will likely put the oem stuff back (D1).

If you change to an aftermarket air filter, use one of the new dry filters. there is no need to oil it and since its a synthetic cloth you can wash it, dry it , and put it back on. Also if you use anftermarket air filter, you should install a less restrictive exhaust system.
