Default LiquiMoly MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment

Has anyone used the LiquiMoly MoS2 Anti-Friction Engine Treatment in their LR2? If so, what was your experience with it? I've heard good stories, but I have also heard horror stories. I tried a little bit in my 4-stroke lawn mower engine and it killed the engine. !!

I've used in in a previous vehicle without issue for about 3-4 years and I am using it currently in the 2008 LR2 since I bought it pre-owned just under two years ago, issue free. I have also used the Liqui Moly Ceratec during one oil change interval in that time period. Reason why I used it in the LR is because the previous vehicle, a V6, it did make the engine run significantly quieter.

What exactly happened to the mower?

Won't run. Sounds like something exploded inside. I will have to tear it down if I want to find out why...

I've run it in a 4 stroke snowblower without issue but I likely only used a teaspoon or so........and that was just for one oil change.

I use mobile-1 with conservative change intervals. Hard to go wrong.

I changed the oil today and put in the additive into the engine while it was still running. It didn't flip over and die so we will see tomorrow how it runs.

If it weren't you folks would be the first to know. So far it looks like I gained about 2 mpg average. I am tentatively impressed.

I put in a complaint to LiquiMoly yesterday about my mower, both to the German and USA HQs . To my surprise, the local rep called today and spoke to me about what happened. He's coming on Wednesday to see the mower and make things right. So far, I am impressed.
