Default LR2 starting issue SLUGGISH

I have a 2010 LR2. 166k miles. Great service history. Recently when I push start the vehicle, it starts promptly. But the engine sounds like it wants to stall and barely runs. I turn off the vehicle. I press the push start a second time and all is fine. This engine shaking/sluggish activity doesn’t happen very often. But it did so both times I started vehicle today. THOUGHTS WOD BD APPRECIATED.

Have you checked the battery? Don't just check voltage, have it checked correctly to see if it's still accepting charge and putting out power under load.

Thank you for your reply. I will have it properly checked. I only have a KONNWEI KW210 Battery tester. I did the CCA test. Its a 790 CCA. The results came back as "GOOD BATTERY".charge 96%. Healthy 5%. Is this ok? But I'm new at all this DIY stuff.

Thank you. Great article. This is what i think is happening. And it usually does so when i stop to fill up and other short stops. I will now try to remember to withdraw the key fob from the dock each time i shut off the car for short stops. Thanks again.
