I am interested in getting an LR2 and have never owned a Land Rover before. I want a 4wd capable of moderate offroading in the footprint of the LR2 which led me to that truck. If you could do one of the following, what choice would you make?

1) 2009 LR2 90,000 highway miles in the $15,500 price range. Truck is loaded.
2) 2009 LR2 40,000 miles CPO in the $22,000 price range
3) 2010 LR2 40,000 miles CPO in the $25,000 price range

I realize condition on the non cpo is important, but is CPO worth the $6-$9k? I have only driven the 2009 high mile one and it was great. It is a second vehicle, so I would prefer to spend less, but not at the sake of costing more in the long run. Thanks

 

Would be worth the money to have a mechanic inspect.

 

DO NOT BUY THE VEHICLE WITHOUT TAKING IT TO A MECHANIC! Repairs on the vehicle are very expensive and it's really not worth the trouble.
