I purchased a 2008 LR2 this past saturday. Last night when i tried the lock the car..it would not lock. I called the dealership to see if i needed to order a new battery and they said that the key charges while in the ignition. Has anyone else experienced something like this? If so, please share.

 

There is a battery but its special and most of the time we would just warrantee the remote. I have seen the issue.
