One side of dual air control not working :( blend stepper motor??

And who knows how long it's been before you owned it.

Prior to changing of the filter, its had a mind of its own to work properly or not. It seems as though when I reset the HVAC it will decide to work. As for the last three days after replacing the dirty filter, all systems are working properly. My fear being the compressor or motor beginning to fail and/ or the blend doors seeming to get stuck one way or another. As for now, the issue seems resolved. I sure hope it stays that way. Thanks again for your words of wisdom, changing an air filter is right about my skill level. haha hope you all are having a lovely day, its sunny and warm in Montana today!

It makes sense, if the filter was clogged, it doesn't matter what the stepper motors did, the flow of air would be interrupted. Good news.
