Default Radiator Hoses

I am going to replace my radiator and thermostat on my 2008 LR2 HSE V6. I am confused about the number of hoses that should be replaced along with this job. None are leaking but the radiator itself has a small leak that has been inconsequential to date. Can I just order upper and lower hoses?

This is what I ordered, does that seem right?

Yes, those will get you by. However, there are a bunch of cooling system hoses that really should be replaced at the same time. Both heater hoses, and there is a hose that goes from the coolant reservoir to the backside of the engine on top. There’s also a small coolant hose that goes to the engine oil cooler, and another one that goes to the transmission cooler. Might as well do them all while you’re in there. And of course, the heater hoses and the coolant reservoir hose are real pain in the neck. But they are doable with patience. It’s either Atlantic British or FCP euro that sells an entire cooling system hose kit for these. It’s a good value.

I agree. Just went through this over a period of weeks chasing leaks. Change them ALL while you are fixing the radiator leak.
