Its time for me to purchase a diagnostic code reader for this trk and my 2005 V8 LR3 which is mint 100,000 miles
snyway can someone please rec an reasonable priced analyzer? As well as point me in the right direction on the LR 2 rough idle and CK engine light? Thanks guys

 

iCarSoft makes a good unit. Clear all the codes, then run the car and see what codes it reports.

fuel injectors, gas cap good,

 

If the icarsoft is arriving today you don't need guesses, just patience. The car will tell you what it thinks is wrong.

While you wait, fully charge your battery and then do battery reset (discribed in full detail on this very forum). Something that will help and also pass the wait period.

 

Cylinder 2 misfire detected
Honestly my first time using a diagnostic tool
I plugged it in turned on ignition cleared all faults (I think)
ran a quick test and fault came up Cylinder 2 misfire detected is this a bad plug? Wishful thinking

P0302-00 code ?

 

Swap the sparkplug from #2 with a different one and see if the misfire follows.
