I recently changed the wheels on my LR2 and now I have two sets of wheels
Note: I live in the US
So that I didn't have the annoying TPMS light on my instrument panel I bought new sensors
The sensors that I bought were on close out for $24.99 each (4 are needed)
I bought VDOSE53004
Note: these are 315 MHz sensors, if you have a Freelander 2 instead of a LR2 then you likely need a different frequency
I couldn't be more impressed with how easy it was to get my LR2 to recognize the new sensors.
Because I had the wheels in my garage with no tires mounted to them I carefully cleaned the location for the sensors and I installed the sensor myself.
I was concerned that I would need to get the sensors programmed or to have my LR2 reset to accept the new sensors.
The VDO SE53004 were plug and play (I didn't have to do anything, just install and drive)
Here is a picture of the wheels that I bought
Note: these are Volvo Wheels so I did have to buy Land Rover decals for the center caps (the Land Rover center cap is different size than the Volvo center cap)
