Default Turns over, no start, no tach dance.

Turns over, no start, no tach dance. I've read that the tach not moving while engine is turning over points to a faulty crankshaft position sensor. The only problem with this is that I ran the error codes and no error code for the crankshaft position sensor came up. Does anyone agree or disagree with no tach movement = bad crankshaft position sensor?

Ok, I'm done with this POS. I've had it for a little more than a year and had nothing but problems with it. It's the wife's car and it keeps leaving her stranded. It's going to the junkyard this week. Thanks everyone for the messages over the past year. I'm done with Rovers for ever and am going to get her a Jeep or Chevy suv instead.
