Default 05 LR3 Door lock actuator locking problems

1. Getting: driver door open: alert on the dash.
2. Replaced door actuator with a brand new OEM part.
3. Put it all back together and guess what: Driver door open : still exists????
Try to lock and Honk! All other doors lock beside my passenger rear? What the hell? The driver door doesn't!
Everything is put back to original I've checked it twice.
I even replaced my hood switch this weekend as well. That worked. No more random alarm!
But the stupid door open is kicking my ****!
What else could be the problem?
Anything would be appreciated

So the only time the doors would inhibit the suspension is if they are open or the vehicle doesn’t recognize that the door is closed. However, your compressor would still run to fill the reservoir. For the door you will probably need a door latch assembly to fix the locking issue unless something else is going on with the cables or power to the latch. As for the suspension a lot of times the compressor is the culprit but there are a lot of parts to the system which can cause a fault such as height sensors, corner valves, suspension module etc… . I would recommend finding someone who can read the DTC’s in the suspension system to get a rough idea what’s going on or go to either a dealer or knowledgeable LR shop so they can determine the failure. If the compressor is bad River updated the compressor from a Hitachi to AMK which will require programming so the car knows which compressor is installed. Good luck
