I have an LR3(the one pictured).

I might have been the first to modify it to work with it but not sure.

If you go through my posts there's a semi-how to.

Depending on how much a hidden winch setup mount costs it might be worth your time. I haven't put too much stress on mine just doing straight pulls and using it to pull other people in mild stuck situations(in FL). I wouldn't do it if I lived in the mountains and had to do alot of sideways pulls on slopes.

YMMV.

EDIT.. I googled it and found this one for $499.99 and would just pony up for that unless you already have a welder or want one(and have spare time).

@ MrWesson - I already have a welder and access to a shop (for farm equipment). So I think I am going to try the HF plate as a starting point. Cut, weld, reenforce, modify, etc. $500 is just a bit much but if the HF plate will simply not work out, then I will probably go that route.

@ Kdo58 - thats awesome! lol

I’ve got a HF mount with a smittybilt 10k on my 3. We just used it a bunch getting through snow above 9000 feet in the Uintas here in UT.
