Hi all,

We just bought a 2005 LR3 and have brought it back to Canada and now the one set of keys we have won't work. Neither the Lock or Unlock buttons do anything. And now the car won't even let us lock the driver side door !

It never came up at the dealership as they were working at that point, but he did mention that a 2nd set was on backorder with Land Rover and he would mail it to us when he got them.

Could it be the battery ? It's supposed to recharge in the ignition. Can we just replace the battery ourselves ? What does one do in this situation ?

And does anyone know off-hand how much a new set would be ?

Update: Its been very rainy here, and our sunroof is leaking. After some reading it seems like the RF power supply for the remote is under the pass. side floor (right under where the leak is) One person's advice was to go under there and replace the sauder junction - has anyone had this done ? Im wondering how much $$$ to repair this.
