No, it will cost you nothing since the shop that messed it up will replace it for free.....

I am working as an expat in Kenya. Here things are different. They will say sorry and then they do nothing here. Even you cannot fight. This place is too corrupted. No other option than changing the diff on my own.

That is very unfortunate to hear Sorry. Swap if you can find one then maybe repair/rebuild and sell the other.

IDK the average cost. A rebuilt locking diff was impossible to find... had to go with used. Think it was 1700 in parts and 1200 labor. I could find that diff at a much lower price but doubt the shop would install. That does come with a 12mo warranty. Pricy, not really best financial option... happy as heck it got done. Works fantastic... well for now

Finally I found a working diff for 1200 USD Today they are going to fix it.
