It must be the season of car problems for me since now my wife's car brakes are warped and need replacing along with an intermittent blower fan.

My other car's battery just died right after the 2 year warranty ended also.
This is my second Duralast battery from Autozone that died right after the 2 year warranty ran out.
Yeah I know how that goes.
Where did you find that link harness? May as well give it a try

Thank you.
Please forgive me but I'm gonna have questions 😆. I've put so much work and money into this issue. I hope it's this with my car too. I'm just trying to understand it.
Overworked pump causes more heat in the circuit. Heat damages the harness connection? So hard to believe. Even harder to pinpoint.

I'm not sure if it was due to an over worked pump.
The connection itself may have not been seated correctly or there was play between the plug and socket I'm not too sure on this its just speculation for my case.

The heat damage to the cable and the connector was from arcing / bad contact and will heat up the insulation of the cables and cause the copper and insulation to go brittle.

I work in automation and have seen this a lot over the years. At my work place we do thermal checks on connections with an IR camera to find these issues before they become more of a problem.
With the melted fuse you replaced i would check the cables more closely around the fuse box if you hadn't already.if you have access to a thermal camera see if you can pin point any bad connection points around the fuses.

Just some suggestions and by no means am i any type of expert on land rovers.
