Default 2008 LR3 - Acceleration Hesitation

Hi - I have a 2008 LR3 V8 SE w/ 80K miles. During the past week on the 2 coldest days (20 degrees F), even when the LR3 is warmed up the vehicle hesitates for 2-3 seconds after depressing the accelerator. The feel is just like it slipped into neutral. It does not do it every time, maybe 50% of the time. I put in 2 cans of Seafoam engine treatment, and when the weather warmed up a bit....everything seemed back to normal for the past few days. However, it was down to 20 degrees again today, and the LR3 started this intermittent accelerator hesitation issue again.

Also, please note I drive it very little, and sometimes it sits for over a week without driving. No dash lights are on either.

Appreciate any ideas and thoughts on the cause and how to correct this. Thanks!!

First guess would be a throttle body cleaning. Not difficult to do. Maybe take it out for an Italian tune-up too. One question though, does this happen when you come to a short stop?

Hey Dakota, no, I do not see any difference with the issue between a short stop, slow complete stop, or a rolling "no stop". Thanks
