Default 2008 LR3 Found part while cleaning today

Hello,

We recently brought home a 2008 LR3 SE and while cleaning today, I found a small black plastic piece that looks like it could be from the truck somewhere? I could not find anything similar or any obvious missing end pieces.

I've attached (hopefully) a couple pictures of the part and its actual size is about 1.5" x 1.5" or so.

Anyone familiar with this part or have any ideas?

Thanks,

David

Kinda looks like a lock on an electrical connector that came off...?

My guess would be that it isn't from the truck at all.

I've encountered two or three electrical connectors for features that my LR3 didn't have that were "plugged" with similar looking fittings to keep dust and debris out of the electrical connectors. It shouldn't be an issue as long as the connector isn't exposed to any water or excessive dirt.

Thanks all - I'll keep checking around. BTW, it was found at the base of the passenger side B pillar wedged between plastic pillar and door sill trim.

did you find them in the back seat? I think they're end caps for the seat rails?

Default Mystery Caps

If you do eventually figure out what the caps are for, please let us know.

Seat rail end caps sound pretty good to me.
