Default 3-Flash Turn Signals

...has anyone successfully turned this feature on? If so, what was required?

I just had the LR Tech at my local dealer turn this on through the CCF, and it still didn't become enabled. Is there another step that must be taken?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, I believe the Body Control Module software has to be updated as well. You can do it with the IID Tool. After that, it should work fine. I did it a long time ago and have never had a problem.

...any chance you remember how to update the Body Control Module software in the IIDTool? Is it something obvious in the menu???

What process did you follow? The IPC update should bring up the clock in the dash if you don't have it (depends on your MY) and the BCM update should give you three-flash signals. It should work. You could try a hard reset before going any further.

Looks like pages 157 & 158 in IIDTool Pro, IIDTool BT and IIDTool manual gives step by step instructions for both the BCU and IPC. If you don't have the manual it can be downloaded from their website. I would just copy and paste the instructions here but not sure how they would feel about that.

If that does not work, drop them an email or try phoning during business hours.

I have nothing but good things to say about them. Usually, the issues they resolve are because I don't know what I am doing, not because the tool is defective.
