Default Air drier rebuild...

looking at workshop manual for the Filter/Dryer removal and it just says:

5 . Disconnect the air suspension intake filter pipe.
6 . Detach the air suspension intake filter.
Release the grommet.
Release from the clip.

Am I disconnecting from plastic cylinder behind the spare wheel well?

Also, where exactly is the air dryer?

is it the cylinder behind the wheel well?
is it in the rear inside quarter panel access? (I don't see it there)
is it with the compressor?

The air dryer is part of the compressor assembly.

Yep, gotta remove the compressor assembly first. Comes out a single unit:

Then you need to remove the drier, replace the filters and desiccant:

It's about a 1 - 1.5 hour job.

Thanks everybody, I was looking at the filter doc in the workshop manual, DUH!

I had watched the Lucky8 video and stumbled on the compressor install video shortly after this post.

What the heck was LR thinking with the placement of that 3rd upper 10mm bolt for the aluminum compressor bracket! That was a PITA!!!

Anyway, job's done and got a 2nd kit for my wifes L322 I'll be doing tm!
