I was under my LR3 doing a couple of things and came across what appear to be an air line which is disconnected from whatever it is supposed to be plugged into. I've circled it in the picture.


Air Supply Unit Silencer (LR018308)



From a fair bit of searching online, I've concluded the unit is the, "Air Supply Unit Silencer". And, it appears to have a part number LR018308.

Although I presume I can simply re-connect the line into the unit, there appears to be absolutely no impact on my air suspension with it disconnected.

Can anybody tell me what this unit does, where the line is from etc? There is very little information on the internets.

Additionally, it appears the unit isn't actually clipped into or onto anything. I presume it should be?
