Air suspension fault
New here so be gentle. Also new to Land Rover. I purchased a 2008 LR3 with 185k. No issues with it except an engine light coming on for a sensor and the coolant low sensor. I know the float in the coolant reservoir needs replacing. I also have replaced the bonnet sensor. So day before yesterday we had an air suspension fault. I did not know what that meant. I pulled over and cut the truck off and restarted. No more issues with everything fine. We had driven about 20 miles averaging 65-75 mph. Spent about 45 minutes eating and Then drove that back without issues. Yesterday after four to five minutes at 65-75 another fault. Did the same thing and the truck was good for another ten minutes before another fault took place. I forgot to mention on the first fault the front right side went down and then the entire front. The second and third time the entire front went down. This time I restarted with no luck. System showed things needed to cool down. Thirty minutes later it still had not cooled so I drove about fifteens minutes at thirty mph. I got mad and restarted and everything was fine for the ten minute ride home. I then sent the height to high and pulled the fuse and measured. This morning about 10 am I measured with no drop anywhere. Plugged the fuse back in and drove the same four to five minutes at the same speeds and the front dropped. Restarted and drove back without issue. My wife can drive it around town for hours with zero issue.
any ideas before I start buying parts and replacing and narrowing it down.

You can't have one corner go down only, cause physics, without other corners dropping or going up. Do you hear the compressor running? The air ride compressor seems like the likely culprit so far but it won't typically cause a drop to bump stops. It has a temp sensor to monitor operations and I know of one cause the sensor was faulty. But assuming your sensor is fine then the implication is the compressor is operating far too much. This can be from a leak in a bag, air line, etc. Or it could be a leak the compressor. It could even be that the compressor is dying and has very low performance. Typically if that is the issue you will get a hard fault for it pulling too much current.
Getting the codes specific to the air ride may help narrow things down.

Today the right front dropped again and everything adjusted to compensate I guess. I did not get a fault. I got home from three miles away with the left rear jacked way up in the air. Cut the engine. Re cranked the vehicle and it told me to readjust the height once the
obstacle had been cleared. There never was an obstacle. I was on a flat street. Normally the right front goes down as the entire front drops and I get the suspension fault warning. That didn’t happen today
