Air Suspension issues

Default Air Suspension issues

I have a 2008 L322 that hit a bump and ended up causing a air bag leak. Since the bags were cracked with age I had both of the front ones replaced. A couple of days after the work was done the suspension started failing again and showing a suspension fault. Is there some software or an EAS by-pass that one can use to take care of this. I have a by-pass for my P38 which works great but I have not found anything for L322 models newer than the 2005 model year.

You spent what was likely an obscene amount of money to install new air shocks and now you want to eliminate the EAS? Hmmm. Well you can pull the fuses or you can see if there is a coilover package available for the FFRR like there is the LR3.

Otherwise, I'd suggest getting an IIDTool from GAP Diagnostics, figuring out why the EAS is giving you a fault, and possibly fixing it. If your compressor is in good order, the fix is likely cheap/easy like a valve block leaking or the need for a calibration. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater....

I am not interested in getting rid of the air suspension. I want to be able to by pass it like I do with my p-38 and have the ability to re-set the air suspension if there is a fault. Gap has an EAS kit but it is sold out.

So basically you want to get it to a set height than lock the system out if I'm following you?

Set height then find the master fuse that powers the EAS computer. Pull it. Will trigger a fault and disable special programs in some cases. But it will lock the air suspension at that height.

For software solution get a GAP IID tool
