Default Airspring issues -2006

I found a Lr master tech a two years back and he's done a nice job for me. He seems honest. I just got my 02 sensor replaced and asked him to look into a random suspension fault in getting (what a shocker !) he explained this way.

Car is pulling an air spring code...something to do w a value. Car has three of these valves. Front rear and one for reservoir . Software doesn't allow him to see which valve is faulty. His only solution is to start randomly replacing valves. Is this true? The process of elimination diagnosis will be costly. He didn't know exact pricing on these things so I'm not really sure how to handle.

Anyone?! Help, and thank you out there. You guys never let me down!

X2 on the empty pockets. The valves have a coil resistance of about 2 ohms. So a meter might show what software doesn't. There are multiple valves in each valve block. See attached from shop manual.

Usually it is not a electrical failure for the valves, and when it is it's generally the wiring not the component. The valves usually are replaced due to sticking, which is a sign of a failed dryer on the compressor, both allowing moisture into the system, and also getting desiccant throughout everything.

The factory diagnostic system can see and force these valves, as can Autologic, not sure what he is using though.

Can you get the full fault code, should be Cxxxx-xx style code. This will help tremendously in figuring out what is going on.

plus there were bulletins for the front air valve wiring. just put a new wire between the connector in the left side front to the right side front valve.

The Air Suspension computer does have the ability to report specific valve faults. If triggered, there is the possibility for specific fault codes for valves.
