OK I need fluid now, all I can find is zerex Asian and zerex g-05 any ideas? Neither list rover on the jug, the Asian says silicate/borate free on front

Local tech uses prestone Dexcool, which I have been using with no problems. Auto zone has it.

I used the Asian I obviously have a leak I need to find this will get me home

I will be doing a full flush now thanks to an arrogant mechanic ,see what u do to lr3 today thread

Default Orange stuff is silicate free.

The specs below are from three manufacturers of the orange coloured coolant commonly known as Dex Cool and OK for our aluminum engine blocks.

Incidentally none of it is good for five years - maybe 150,000 miles in three years but with time, the anti corrosion properties deteriorate. It will never freeze, but what really matters is corrosion, or not.

I always use distilled water if I'm not sure, especially if no threat of freezing.
