Found behind the passenger kick panel. wire runs down the floor well under carpet. The wrapping of around the bundling seems to have been tampered with in the past. The black wire that seems stripped back doesn't seem to be a ground. I checked continuity to ground and had none.,

 

That is really familiar to me. I want to say it is for audio aux or antenna of sorts and I think that is normal what are are seeing. All the wiring is copper except a couple specific runs and that bare cable may be basically a shielding run or line interference preventer thingy.....

 

I’ll pull the rear aux and check. Definitely runs under the carpet up that way. I was hoping something significant but maybe not
