Default Battery disconnect switch - thoughts?

I was thinking about installing this switch from amazon or something similar. Anyone have any experience with these or do I need to steer clear? Just thought it would be a handy thing to have, and to keep from pulling fuses when lifting the truck, etc.

Seems pretty harmless and conceptually simple...but you may want to check the shape of that terminal and how to connect it to our cables. I feel like the shape of the LR3's cables and terminals are kinda funky....go figure.

I don't think there would be any problems with it, the only possible issue is making sure it will fit. Worst case you're only out $10 so no big loss.

Default would not do it

The electrical is so touchy on these 3's that I tend not to change anything for the "better" unless there is really a good reason.

I did the Traxide second battery install thing but that is it. The second battery has the Anderson PowerPole inline cable disconnect between the two batterys that I disconnect prior to it going into a mechanics shop as they would not notice the second battery fully hidden under the second lid.

I do carry a 13? mm wrench with me in the truck so I can disconnect the negative of the main as that is the safest cable to routinely remove.

To be totally accurate, I did use one of those disconnects on the negative side of the Aux battery where the ground cable attaches to the body sheet metal but have never had occasion to use it. It seemed like a good idea at the time but instead I just disconnect the Anderson on the hot side.

Note the inconsistency - I disconnect at the ground post on the Main but the hot cable on the Aux - go figure.
