Default Battery light on dash stays on.....

i have an 07 LR3 with battery light on and fan running. I have changed my alternator 3 times, bought a new battery and yet the battery light on the dash will not go out. I am getting code P063c (Generator voltage sense - low voltage). Alternator is testing 13.6V at idle with lights and A/C on high. Voltage doesnt change at 2000 rpms. I have pulled apart and cleaned the grounds at the battery, under passenger side wheel well firewall and engine block. Cleaned the + red wire connection on the alternator and the plug on back of the alternator. checked 5 amp fuse is ok also. Battery light still on, same P063C code present. Any thoughts? Thanks

Sounds like your three-wire connector is damaged, not plugged in, etc.

Havnt checked that yet so i will today. Does the damage usually occur at the plug itself or where the plug wire connects to the harness? Also, I have a voltmeter so i can test the plug. Any idea which color wire is live?
