Just posting this in case anyone is interested. Here is a blackstone report on my LR3 with 152k miles. I told them the oil change interval was 6,000 miles, but I think it was actually 9,000 miles or so as it was longer than I remembered. They replied and said that may account for some of the iron wear. I got it changed at a quick change place because I was literally in the middle of moving from one house to a new house/shop, so had no place to DIY it. I'll send another analysis in 8k miles, which may take some time since I don't drive nearly as much as I used to now that I'm in the country.
In any case, here is the report. This was Valvoline synthetic 5w40. Normally I use castrol, but again, didn't have a place to DIY it so had to go to a Valvoline quick-change place.
